MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 27, 1970
• Chairman Sapp called the meeting to order at 7:40 P.M. Also present
were Aldermen DeBack and Foldy, Mayor Gottfried and Police Chief
Kraus.
• Minutes of meeting held on August 13, 1970, were reviewed and placed
on file.
Ald. Sapp moved to refer alternate proposal to improve boulevard
section of Lannon Drive to the Public Works Committee. Seconded by
Ald. DeBack. Motion carried.
Twenty seven (27) Tess Corners Rescue Squad Reports were received.
Twenty four (24) were approved for payment and billing. Two (2) were
referred back to the Tess Corners Fire Dept. for further information.
One (1) was approved for no billing and no payment.
Fifteen (15) Muskego Volunteer Fire Dept. Reports covering period
from 4/8/70 to 7/4/70 were reviewed and placed on file.
Chief Kraus's recommendation regarding an explosives ordinance, which
would control the use and storage of explosives in the city, was re-
viewed. Ald. Foldy moved to refer this to the Rules, Laws & Ordinance
Committee with recommended changes. Seconded by Ald. DeBack. Motion
carried.
Recommendations for collecting money for overdue fines for library
books without the use of city policemen were referred to Ald. Narlock
of the Library Board.
Ald. DeBack moved for adjournment. Seconded by Ald. Foldy. Motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:45 P.M.
