• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY 79 1970
The meeting was called to order at 9:00 P.M. by Chairman Lois Sapp.
Also in attendance were Aldermen DeBack,and Foldy and Building
Inspector Lee.
Alderman Foldy was elected Secretary.
Building Inspector Lee requested the Committee to review the clerical
salary treatment.
The Committee reviewed eleven Tess Corners Fire Dept. Reports and
placed them on file.
The Committee reviewed seventeen Tess Corners Rescue Squad Reports
and fifteen were approved for payment.
Police Chief Kraus presented a proposed organization change. The
Committee will consider the proposal.
• Police Chief Kraus discussed a fellowship grant from the Law Enforce-
ment Assistance Act. Aid. DeBack moved for deferment on this matter.
Seconded by Aid. Foldy, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed a proposed change to the Traffic Section of the
Municipal Code from Chief Kraus. Aid. Foldy moved to refer this
matter to the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee. Seconded by Aid.
Sapp. Motion carried.
Traffic obstruction at the corner of Highway 45 and Union Church
Drive was reviewed. Chairman Sapp will contact Lt. Kass and report
back at the next meeting.
Recommendation to adopt by resolution the State posting of speed
limits on new County Highway (Y) (Racine Ave.) was reviewed. Aid.
Sapp moved to recommend that the Common Council adopt such resolution.
Seconded by Aid. DeBack. Motion carried.
Aid. DeBack moved for adjournment. Seconded by Foldy, motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 11:30 P.M.
