MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 17, 1969
The meeting was called to order at 8:02 P.M. by Chairman O'Connell.
Also present were Aldermen Burgermeister, Wollman and Sapp, Police
Chief Kraus and Building Inspector Lee.
The Minutes of the previous meeting held on December 3, 1969,
were reviewed and placed on file.
Mrs. Carl Lassanski of W137 S6823 Dunstan Ct. and Mr. Duane
Whitehouse, Dog Warden, appeared at the meeting as were requested
to do so at the last meeting of this Committee.
Mrs. Lassanske's inquiry, dated December 3, 1969, regarding the
Dog Warden was discussed at length. Numerous reports were re-
viewed. A gentleman representing "Defenders of Animals" had
several questions. Answers were provided by Chief Kraus and
Mr. Whitehouse. It was agreed that the gentleman's questions
. and Mrs. Lassanke's inquiry were satisfactorily answered. Chief
Kraus further stated that he felt the facilities were adequate
and that Mr. Whitehouse offers a fine service to the City.
Chief Kraus questioned what action was being taken on his pro-
posal dated October 10, 1969. Ald. Wollman will discuss this
matter further at the next meeting of the negotiating committee
and will advise Chief Kraus shortly.
Ald. Sapp moved to recommend to the Rules, Laws & Ordinance
Committee that they consider the proposed changes to the Plumbing
Code. Seconded by Ald. Wollman. Motion carried.
Ald. Wollman moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Ald.
Sapp. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:45 P.M.
