MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 4, 1969
The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Chairman Sapp. Also
present were Aldermen Wollman, Burgermeister and Cooley. Building
Inspector Lee and Chief Kraus were also present.
The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed on file.
The name change for Dougherty Lane was taken under advisement.
Thirteen (13) Rescue Squad Reports were reviewed and recommended for
payment.
The Monthly Police Dept. Report was reviewed and placed on file.
The status of the Police Dept. Dispatchers was discussed.
Motion by Wollman, seconded by Sapp, to recommend to the Common Council
that the dispatchers be considered as part of the Muskego W.P.P.A.
Motion carried.
Chief Kraus explained in detail the Police Dept. "upward mobility"
proposal.
Motion by Cooley, seconded by Sapp, that we present a resolution to
the Council creating three Lt. positions in the Police Dept. to
replace the current three positions of Staff Sgt. with no increase
in salaries or expenditures to the City. Motion carried.
Motion by Cooley, seconded by Wollman that the DPW install stop signs
with all roads intersecting Muskego Dr. Motion carried.
Motion by Wollman, seconded by Ald. Sapp, that we get an estimate from
the Wisconsin Electric Power Co. as to the cost of installing street
lights along Highway 24 from Lannon Drive to Bellview Drive.
Ald. Narlock presented a report on a potential danger at Dawson°s
Gravel Pit. Chairman Sapp will have the Police Dept. check into the
matter.
At 10:00 P.M. the Committee joined the Finance Committee meeting to
discuss the Police Dept. eligibility list.
The meeting adjourned at 10:35 P.M.
