PSM19681204PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO lip MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 4, 1968 Present were Ch. Lin, Aldermen Wollman and Burgermeister and Mr. Gottfried. The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. Minutes of meeting held 11/16/68 were read, approved and placed on file. Ald. Wollman reported to the Committee regarding the flashing lights installation at entrance to highways at fire stations. The cost of each installation would run approximately $2,500.00. The State and County High Department's regulations concerning this are such that it was the feeling of the Committee that the installations of lights would not be advantageous for the departments to install same. Motion by Ch. Linck, seconded by Wollman, that an ordinance regarding materials for laterals for sanitary sewers be recommended for adoption by the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee. Motion carried. • Report from Muskego Fire Department was received and placed on file. It was recommended that the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee recommend for adoption an ordinance similar to that of the City of Franklin regarding horseback riding and to include an amendment which refers to that portion of the City Zoning Ordinance regarding the keeping of horses. Report from City of Muskego Police Department was received and placed on file. Motion by Ch. Linck to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Wollman. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:45 P.M.
