PSM19681204PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
lip MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 4, 1968
Present were Ch. Lin, Aldermen Wollman and Burgermeister and Mr. Gottfried.
The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M.
Minutes of meeting held 11/16/68 were read, approved and placed on
file.
Ald. Wollman reported to the Committee regarding the flashing lights
installation at entrance to highways at fire stations. The cost of
each installation would run approximately $2,500.00. The State and
County High Department's regulations concerning this are such that
it was the feeling of the Committee that the installations of lights
would not be advantageous for the departments to install same.
Motion by Ch. Linck, seconded by Wollman, that an ordinance regarding
materials for laterals for sanitary sewers be recommended for adoption
by the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee. Motion carried.
• Report from Muskego Fire Department was received and placed on file.
It was recommended that the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee recommend
for adoption an ordinance similar to that of the City of Franklin
regarding horseback riding and to include an amendment which refers
to that portion of the City Zoning Ordinance regarding the keeping of
horses.
Report from City of Muskego Police Department was received and placed
on file.
Motion by Ch. Linck to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Wollman. Motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:45 P.M.
Respectfully submitted,
Walter Wollman, Acting Sec'y.
