MINUTES OF MEETING HELD ON OCTOBER 28, 1968
The meeting was called to order at 8:30 P.M.
Present were Chairman Linck, Aldermen Wollman, Cooley and Burgermeister.
Building Inspector Lee and Police Chief Kraus were also present.
The Minutes of the previous meeting were approved and will be placed
on file.
Fire Chief Utpatel appeared to discuss the idea of making a charge
for rescue services. Many suggestions were discussed, pros and cons
but no conclusion reached. The Committee will take up the subject
again at the next meeting.
Building Inspector Lee stated that the N.R.A. shooting group at
Mill Valley School would like a free permit. Committee members
will view the operation and take up the subject again at their
next meeting.
• Motion by Cooley, seconded by Linck, to pay 18 rescue squad calls.
Motion carried.
Motion by Linck, seconded by Wollman, that the Rules, Laws and
Ordinance Committee recommend adoption of Ordinance #119, as corrected
by City Attorney Buckley, motion carried.
Motion by Linck, seconded by Wollman, that the Rules, Laws & Ordinance
Committee recommend adoption of Ordinance #128, motion carried.
Motion by Wollman, seconded by Cooley, that the Dept. of Public Works
install a "stop" sign at the corner of Ranch Drive and Muskego Drive
as soon as possible. Motion carried.
The revised Police Department Budget for 1969 was discussed in detail
with Chief Kraus from 9:25 to 10:55 P.M. and was recommended for
presentation to the Finance Committee as printed.
The meeting adjourned at 11:00 P.M.
