• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 16, 1968
The meeting was called to order at 7:37 P.M.
Present were Aldermen Wollman, Cooley, Burgermeister and Narlock. Also
present were Police Chief Kraus, Sgt. Kass and Inspector Lee.
• Mrs. G. Gorski, S68 W18134 Island Dr. appeared in regard to an alleged
dog bite sustained by her on August 20, 1968. Owner of the dog was the
Muntz family, Island Dr. After about ten minutes of discussion Ald.
Cooley stated he would re -check the police report on this case and
also discuss our present Dog Ordinance with the City Attorney to see
if any charges should be made. Ald. Burgermeister also advised Mrs.
Gorski again, as he had a few weeks before, that she must bring a
Civil action against the dog owner for injuries she feels she received.
Approximately 25 citizens appeared and spoke in favor of Ordinances
#122, 123 and 124 changing three sections of our Municipal Code -
sections 12.01(4)(h), 12.01 (4)(1) and 12.04(8)(b). No one spoke against
the proposed changes. Wollman moved, seconded by Cooley, that it be
• recommended to the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee that these changes
be made. Motion carried.
Cooley moved, seconded by Wollman, that Chief Kraus's proposal regarding
County Park rules be referred to the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee
for action.
Cooley reported on the analysis he had done on the past seven months
Rescue Squad reports. It was his judgment that the Rescue Squad is
not being mis-used by the citizens of Muskego. Out of 182 reports
studied, only about six were questionable. Cooley moved, seconded by
Wollman, that the Finance Committee pay the Rescue Squad bill for
August, as submitted.
The Muskego Fire Dept. Monthly Report was reviewed and placed on file.
Building Inspector Lee discussed his proposed 1969 budget with the
Committee.
The meeting adjourned at 10:20 P.M.
