PSM19680903• PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD ON SEPTEMBER 3, 1968 The meeting was called to order at 8:21 P.M. Present were Chairman Linck, Aldermen Wollman, Cooley and Burgermeister. The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Linck moved that the City adopt the Town of Burlington Water Way Marker Permit and Application Form. Seconded by Wollman, motion carried. The high volume of Rescue Squad calls was discussed. Burgermeister will check with other areas to see what kind of charges that they make. 32 Rescue Squad reports were reviewed, payment delayed. Wollman moved that the Finance Committee authorize the transfer of $3,000.00 from the General Fund to the Rescue Squad Fund. Seconded by Linck, motion carried. • Wollman moved that Sections (1) and (2) of 9.22 and Sec. (3),of 9.23 of Ordinance #115 be deleted. Seconded by Linck, motion carried. Same to be referred to the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee. Resolution #158-68 was reviewed and two changes made. Resolution #159-68 was reviewed and approved. Resolution #157-68 (No parking-Ladwig Dr.) was referred to Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee to see if it was necessary to have a resolution for this type of action. Wollman moved that the State Highway Dept. be asked to erect a sign pointing to Muskego (via Hwy 24) at the intersection of Forest Home Avenue and Janesville Road. Seconded by Linck, motion carried.
