• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 5, 1968
The meeting was called to order at 8:15 P.M.
Present were Chairman Linck, Aldermen Wollman, Cooley and Burger-
meister. Also present were Mayor Wieselmann, Inspector Lee, Police
Sgt. Kass and Conservation Warden Schroeder.
10 Chairman Linck introduced Warden Schroeder who briefed the Committee
on where Muskego presently stands in complying with the Wisconsin
Waterway Marker Law of January, 1968 and what type of program that
we as a City should adopt.
Sgt. Kass presented a Police Department proposal that the Committee
direct the Dept. of Public Works to install "no parking" signs on
Ladwig Drive. Linck moved that the DPW be directed to do this.
Seconded by Cooley, motion carried.
The Monthly Tess Corners Rescue Squad Report was reviewed. Wollman
moved that the report be accepted and payment made as requested.
Seconded by Linck, motion carried.
The Monthly Police Dept., Tess Corners Fire Dept. and Muskego Fire
Dept. Reports were reviewed and placed on file.
A proposal from Chief Kraus requesting additional Dispatcher was
reviewed. Linck moved to recommend to Finance Committee that
this new position be approved. Seconded by Cooley, motion carried.
A request from the Police and Fire Commission was reviewed. Cooley
moved to recommend to the Finance Committee that funds be made
available to set up a new Police Dept. eligibility list. Seconded
by Ald. Linck, motion carried.
A junk car problem on the Richard Wotnoski property was discussed
again. Wollman moved that the Common Council approve the Building
Inspector take legal action against Mr. Wotnoski. Seconded by
Linck, motion carried.
Mayor Wieselmann provided Committee members with a copy of W.P.P.A
1968 Wage and Fringe Benefit Proposals for discussion, study and
review.
The meeting adjourned at 9:35 P.M.
