MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JANUARY 4, 1968
Acting Chairman Alderman Lentini called the meeting to order at 7:10 P.M.
Present were Mayor Gottfried, Alderman Narlock and Zoning Officer Lee.
Alderman Narlock moved to approve the Minutes of the previous meeting
0as read and placed them on file. Seconded by Alderman Lentini, motion
carried.
The proposed Electrical Code was discussed.
The position of Humane Officer was reviewed.
The Tess Corners Volunteer Fire Department rescue report was received.
Alderman Lentini moved to recommend to the Finance Committee payment
of this report dated 11/20/67 to 12/14/67. Seconded by Alderman Narlock,
motion carried.
The closing of Hi-Y Drive intersection with the proposed new Highway "Y"
was reviewed. It was agreed in principle that it would be in the best
interest of the residents on Hi-Y Drive if this street were closed at
• the eastern edge of the proposed Highway "Y". Mayor Gottfried is to
write to all the property owners of land abutting on the eastern section
of Hi-Y Drive, explaining the complete details of closing this inter-
section.
Alderman Narlock moved to adjourn. Seconded by Alderman Lentini, motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 7:50 P.M.
