PSM19670717PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 17, 1967
The regular meeting of the Public Safety Committee was called to order
by Chairman Roland Linck at 8:05 P.M. Present were Chairman Linck,
Alderman Lentini and Alderman Narlock.
IsThe problem of making Ruby Drive a one-way street was discussed and
it was decided that it would be best to view the street. After
viewing the street and discussing the problems with several residents,
the meeting was continued at the City Hall. The problem that most
concerned the street residents was the speeding of cars and motorcycles
on the very narrow tree lined street. The residents are apparently
in agreement that the best way to control the situation is to have all
traffic moving only in a north westerly direction and then in north-
easterly direction on this circular drive.
Alderman Lentini moved that the Committee recommend that Ruby Drive
should be made a one way street with traffic starting at the southern
intersection with Jewel Crest Drive and proceeding in a northwesterly
direction and then northeasterly to exit at the north intersection
with Jewel Crest Drive. Alderman Linck seconded the motion. Motion
carried.
• The June Constable reports were presented and checked. Alderman
Lentini moved to recommend payment of the Constable's work report
in the amount of $256.04. Seconded by Alderman Linck. Motion carried.
Alderman Linck moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Alderman
Narlock. Motion carried.
