PSM19670606• It U 40 PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD TUESDAY, JUNE 6, 1967 The meeting was called to order at 4:15 P.M. by Chairman Linck. Present were Chairman Linck, Alderman Weaver and Mayor Gottfried. Mr. Edward Jones of the Electric Company presented various plans or proposals regarding street lights. Existing service (1929 fixtures) installed in Tess Corners - have not been used since April, 1955. Highway Y, south of Highway 24, needs confirmation by the Council to coincide with the new road building program. A resolution will be presented to provide for this separate phase of the program. Mr. Jones advised that 175 watt lamps are necessary for 4-way inter- sections in order to see a pedestrian. The Waukesha Board of Radio Trustees shall be contacted for inform- ation relative to our new Police Department and the radio needs of the City. The Board meets once a month. Eight rescue reports and Constable Bana.szak patrol reports were accepted and referred to the Finance Committee. The Safety Committee members discussed the use of the facilities of the New Berlin Community Hospital and was of the opinion that persons requiring emergency treatment could request transportation to this facility.
