PSM19670221SAFETY COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO • MINUTES OF MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 21, 1967 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Linck at 4:15 P.M. Present were Chairman Linck, Alderman Lentini, Alderman Weaver, Mayor Gottfried, Tess Corners Fire Chief Howard Imme and members of the Rescue • Squad. A discussion was held regarding the 1967 Rescue Squad contract. Examples of the costs of a run were enumerated as follows: $10.00 pay - 5-man team - 4 men on the squad, one (1) at the radio at $2.00 each. $ 1.50 - gasoline $ 8.00 - Insurance .75 - Oxygen 14.00 - depreciation $34.75 - Total per run Vehicle cost $7200.00 + Eighty eight runs were made in the year 1966 of which fourteen were across county lines. Types of p-tients encountered and problems of responsibility were re- viewed by the members for the benefit of the Committee. A special meeting to be held Friday, February 24th - 4:15 P.M. SAFETY COMMITTEE MEETING - FEBRUARY 24th, 1967 - CITY OF MUSKEGO The meeting was called to order at 4:20 P.M. by Chairman Linck. Also present were Alderman Lentini, Alderman Weaver and Mayor Gottfried. The rescue reports were read, approved and referred to the Finance Committee. The Dog Catcher report was read. Chairman Linck moved that the report be accepted, seconded by Alderman Lentini. Alderman Weaver voted "no". The motion to accept the report carried. The Committee received copies of reports from Bldg. Inspector Lee re- garding the results of Fire and Safety inspections made recently. Bldg. Inspector Lee was requested to attend the meeting and was questioned about some items for further information desired by the members of the Committee. Road intersection street lighting was again reviewed by the Committee. Chairman Linck requested Alderman Weaver to write to Attorney Hippenmeyer regarding procedures for abolishing present lighting districts.
