• Safety Committee meeting of January 17, 1967.
Meeting called to order at 4:20 P.M. Chairman Linck, Ald.
Lentini, Ald. Weaver and Mayor Gottfried were present.
Minutes of January 3rd were read and approved as read.
Bldg. Insp. Lee joined the committee and explained his schedule for
inspectionsof premises as to safety hazards, fire, number of
exits, health conditions, etc., of public places such as taverns,
dance halls, etc., that require to be licensed by the City of
Muskego. A letter shall precede the actual inspection, Feb. lst,
about two weeks before the inspection shall be made by a group
consisting of the building inspector, representatives of the
Fire Department and County Health Departments.
Ald. Lentini brought up the subject of dogs having been poisoned
in his neighborhood and possible danger to children as well.
Plumbing Code Fee Schedule discussed between Ald. Lentini and
Bldg. Insp. Lee. Ald. Lentini still feels that fees should be
charged at a decreased cost on multiple fixtures.
Petition received by Sec'y. Weaver and presented to the committee
• regarding excessive speed limits on College Avenue from Highway 24
ending at Racine Avenue. Ald. Lentini made the motion that the
petition be forwarded to the County Safety Committee for their
consideration, seconded by Chairman Linck, motion carried.
Necessary contracts shall be prepared and mailed to the two
fire departments and rescue department for the year 1967.
The Safety Committee is waiting for lists of street light areas
as requested of the Aldermen.
Ald. Weaver moved for adjournment. Ald. Lentini seconded the
motion and meeting adjourned at 5:50 P.M.
