The meeting was called to order by Chairman Roland Linck at 4:30 P.M.
Present were Chairman Linck, Alderman Lentini and Alderman Weaver.
Building Inspector Lee and Mayor Gottfried were also present.
An ordinance creating a Plumbing Code for the City of Muskego was
discussed and explained by Mr. Lee to the Committee.
Alderman Lentini questioned the fee schedule as proposed. He
cited large installations like schools, hospitals, etc, as an
example. He also questioned the reason for no maximum charge not
indicated in the schedule. Mr. Lee explained the issue of com-
plicated problems when numerous fixtures are required. According
to Mr. Lee, no other communities have a maximum fee charge.
Alderman Lentini suggested that the Rules, Laws & Ordinance
Committee investigate the cost factor versus the fee schedule
income. Bldg. Inspector Lee explained that most communities
operate at a deficit in building code enforcement departments.
