MINUTES OF MEETING HELD ON SEPTEMBER 71 1966
The meeting was called to order at 8:40 P.M. with William Ahrens actinggas Chairman..
Present were Alderman Lentini, Alderman Linck, Alderman Budish, Mayor Gottfried,
Mr. Walter Bohrer, Mr. William Ahrens and Mr. Warren Moser.
00 The Fire and Police Commission heartily recommer_ed that an analysis of the
community needs be made regpxdingthe planning and evaluating the need of a
police service and it be contracted ffb the sume of $1600.00 with the Public
Administration Service, 1313 E. Sixtieth St., Chicago, Illinois, a non-profit
organization which renders technical assistance to governments on a cost
basis.

Alderman Weaver moved that the Safety Committee recommend to the Finance
Committee that $1660.00 be expended for the purpose offstudy by the Public
Administration Service. Seconded by Alderman Lentini. Motion carried.
