PSM19660906• SAFETY COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 6, 1966 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Linck at 4:30 P.M. Present were Chairman Linck, Alderman Lentini, Alderman Weaver, and Mayor Gottfried. • A meeting with the Finance Committee and the Police and Fire Commission shall be held September 7th, 1966, at 8:30 P.M. The Constables report was approved and referred to the Finance Committee. A letter was received from the City of New Berlin regarding speed limits on College Avenue along with a copy of a petition from residents of this area. The request of the petition presented was to reduce the speed limit to thirty miles per hour on College Ave. Chairman Linck to contact the City of New Berlin Alderman whose ward bounds College Ave. In regard to the Water Patrol Officers, all equipment to be turned in at the end of the season with the exception of their shirts. • The street lighting for Racine Avenue was discussed. Alderman Weaver moved that the Safety Committee recommend to the Council that present lighting districts be abolished and that a Public Hearing be held for this purpose.
