MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY llth, 1966 - 7:35 P.M.
Present were Mayor Gottfried, Chairman Linck, Alderman
Lentini and Alderman Weaver.
The Minutes of the meeting held April 28th were approved.
Traffic Control Speed Ordinances #37, #38 and #39 were
discussed and it is believed they should be combined and
submitted as a single amendment to the original speed
ordinance.
Lighting Districts - Letters are to be sent to various
communities requesting how they have assessed and controlled
their city street lighting districts.
temporary No Parking signs: In regard to the Memorial Day
Parade parking problem on Racine Ave. from Horn Field south
to Woods Road a letter was sent to the County Highway Department
and an answer was returned approving same.
A letter has been received from the Wisconsin Conservation
• Department regarding Water Safety Patrols to be referred to
the Fire and Police Commission.
A communication received from Alderman Wollman regarding
high bushes at the intersection of Cornell and Durham Dr.
Visual setback line information contained in our Subdivision
Control Ordinance was read to the Committee.
Building and Plumbing inspection qualifications regarding a
Third Class City shall be investigated.
Mr. Kelly, Humane Officer, had been invited to this meeting
but due to illness was unable to attend. Information relative
to the purchase of cages is requested for the Committee.
Ald. Lentini moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Ald.
Linck. The meeting adjourned at 9:30 P.M.
