City of Muskego
Present were Chairman Hudziak, Aldermen Bostater and Wieselmann, Mayor Gottfried
and Civil Defense Director, George Trepainer.
Meeting called to order at 6:45 PM, June 17, 1965•
The first order of business was the presentation to the Committee of the Operational
•Survivial Plan, Civil Defense Director George Trepainer presented same.
Mr. Trepeiner presented the expenses that he had incurred up to this date. The total
was $186.77• This included cost of the Operational Survivial Plan, Stamps, Long Dis-
tance Calls and 3 Civil Defense Meetings.
Auxiliary Police was the next item to be discussed. There are 18 men in the Unit.
Each man to this point has been responsible for the equipment they have thus far,
such as, whistles, flashlights, 6 sets rain gear, caps, badges, short sleeve shirts,
etc..
So far approximately 75 people have been trained in survivial, First Aid and assoc-
iated training. A record has been kept of all persons that have taken training and
the types of training received.
Mr. Trepainer will appear at the next regular meeting of the Committee to present
the procedure as to how matching funds can be obtained from the Federal or State
• Government.
Alderman Wieselmann questioned Mr. Trepainer on the procedure to be followed, to have
City Council and other Key men included on the Telephone Company listing to have ser-
vice continued in case of emergencies. Mayor Gottfried will inquire into this matter
so that telephone service could be continued for these phones.
Motion to adjourn by Alderman Bostater, seconded by Alderman Wieselmann. Carried.
