PSM19650521• PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING MAY 21, 1965 PRESENT: Aldermen Bostater, Hudziak and Wieselmann. The meeting was called to order at 5:12 P.M. by Chairman Hudziak. Mr. Gay Ricker was interviewed by the Committee relative to serving as Water Patrolman on Bass Bay. Alderman Hudziak presented a note and stated that Mr. Elmer Tetzlaff had asked that his name be withdrawn from consideration. Alderman Bostater moved to amend Resolution #54 as follows: To add to the third and fifth paragraph - Big Muskego Lake, Bass Bay - Gay Ricker - and to add Gay Rickerts name to last paragraph under compensation for $500.00 amount, and to change period. of service from May 21 to September 30, 1965, to read from Memorial Day until Labor Day inclusive. Seconded by Chairman Hudziak and motion carried. Letter from State of Wisconsin Conservation Dept. relative to Bill 84,5. on Marine Fuel Tax received and to be placed on file. • Letter from State of Wisconsin Conservation Dept. to all Municipal Water Safety Patrol units regarding meeting held at Wisconsin Conservation center in Poynette, Wisconsin, at 9:30 A.M., Thursday, May 27, 1965, was read. Alderman Bostater moved to recommend to City Council that City of Muskego pay mileage of .08¢ per mile for one water patrolman to attend meeting with the understanding to take any other patrolman with him if they so desire to attend. Seconded by Alderman Wieselmann and carried. Alderman Weaver asked permission to be heard to state his thoughts on providing caps or hats for Water Patrolmen. Permission granted. Matter to be discussed by the Committee at a later date. Motion to adjourn by Alderman Bostater, seconded by Chairman Hudziak and carried. Meeting adjourned at 5:50 P.M.
