1. Call to Order: President D. Dominski called the meeting to order at 7:03 PM.
2. Roll Call: Also present were N. Borgman, S. Gould, K. Huebner, R. Jankowski, R. Rivard and Director
J. Genzel. R. Brunk, J. De Vito-Scalzo and K. Hammitt were absent.
3. Pledge of Allegiance: recited.
4. Statement of Public Notice: Given in accordance with the open meeting law on February 23, 2010.
5. Approval of Minutes: S. Gould moved to approve minutes of the January 27, 2010 meeting and K.
Huebner seconded. Motion carried.
6. Next Meeting Scheduled March 24, 2010.
7. Treasurer’s Report: R. Rivard moved and N. Borgman seconded a motion to approve payment of
February expenses of $62,303.72. Motion carried. R. Rivard moved and N. Borgman seconded a
motion to approve payment of WCFLS February expenses of $6,122.82. Motion carried.
8. Communications
a. Communications: None.
b. Guest Comments: None.
c. Comment Forms: None.
9. Old Business
a. Long Range Planning: Tom Hennen gave an overview of the process. He distributed forms for
the board to fill out and return to Jane in 2 weeks. He also distributed a planning data report
and reviewed the contents. Everyone should review the last LRP especially goals and
objectives. The LRP goals and objectives should be specific, time sensitive and measurable.
We may want to include rainy day and blue sky plans.
b. FOL: Planning for the May wine tasting is in progress. Next meeting is March 13 at 8 AM in
the library.
c. Trust Fund: $12,901.46.
d. Librarian’s Report: The report was distributed.
e. Interlibrary Cooperation: None.
f. Meeting Room Rules and Regulations: There was a lot of discussion on the revised policy.
Jane will rewrite the sections that we would like to change. We want the “responsible person”
to really be responsible.
10. New Business:
a. Resolve Pending Fine Disputes: None.
b. Library Technology Update: None.
