Communications
a. Communications: A request from the City Clerk for the Library to be used as a polling place
instead of Tess Corners Elementary. There were no objections. Holly will reply to Jean.

Old Business
FOL. The Craft Fair made a net lprofit of $8,877 10. The Friends met to discuss issues that
were brought up at the fair. Only items made by the exhibitor are to be sold. Vendors will be
checked before opening next year. Items not in compliance will be removed. Close doors at
9:30 AM. Too many people wailing inside before the opening. Library patrons wondering why
FOL is not selling canvas book bags?
Libfa!ian's Rep& Read and placed on file. Patron comments were circulated. Brookfield
Trust Fund $44.082.15 as of the latest report.

same package we are (DRA - TAOS). The other package is Innovative Interfaces.
Long Range Planning: We will keep survey forms available for patrons. Not as many
responses as we had hoped for, No surprises so far,

Provision of Coffee: Distributed letter that Holly sent to the Mayor and Alderman. We are on
Annual Reports: Distributed Financial statistics report. It will be on the agenda next month for
questions.
Pagers and Cell Phones: Distributed proposed policy changes for review at the next meeting.
Skateboards: Distributed proposed policy changes for review at the next meeting. Scooters
will be included in the mlicv.

Members of the Brookfield Public Library board will be touring our library this Saturday, and have asked
to meet with any of our library board members who might be available. I did “notice” it as an open meeting just
in case we get a quorum.
Some inspirational words to say about libraries and technology in Wisconsin. [Copy distributed.] We do not
