The equipment bought for us by the Friends of the Library is here. We have been using some Of which have received good comments, thanks to Jane's fine work. it to assist the computer classes, most of which have been full, (105 people since July lo), and Attendance at summer programs has been gratifying. For instance, over 130 children saw folksinger Robbie Clement, whose appealance was sponsored by the Friends. HVAC continues to be a problem, with a ':summit meeting" being held this morning. A number of landscaping and smaller "punch list" items have been or are being resolved. The city's maintenance staff has been particularly helpful. As you may have noticed the rest of the furniture is being installed. The trucks arrived on Monday, and it is likely staff from Unique will be on site through at least Thursday. The balance of our office furniture order arrived last week. These were items we waited to order until staff were in their new areas, and could see what would be needed. The large-face clock which was to be delivered this month had to be re-made, as it was bowing in the factory. Bike rack order information has been recmsived, and the rack will be on order soon. The WCFLS Public Relations committee met here Monday, and the Intersystem Borrowing meeting with Lakeshores will be held hen, Wednesday evening, August 2"d.
