JulylAugust, 1997
0 The Summer Reading Program has drawn to a close, but sign-up for fall storyhours is
underway. We are offering a new book discussion group for 3d and 4” graders, “Books into
Movies,” which will meet throughout the year, about every six weeks. Children will read a
well-known children’s book and discuss it. Then they will view the motion picture or video,
and will compare and contrast the different formats.
The Mystery Readers’ Book Club will have an organizational meeting September 23“‘.
Jane and Penny will be c-hosting. Like B.A.R.S., this group will meet monthly.

paintings and sculpture in June. Jean Golightly had a photography exhibit in July, and the
Waukesha County Fair winners from Mucky 4-H are currently on show.
