Ray, Don and Holly met with Mayor Deangelis They discussed building committee
makeup, building location and possib:.e April 1996 referendum. Further discussion
on architect selection process. Don will attend a library planning seminar in
Madison in February. Meeting adjourned at 7:32 P.M.

Treasurers Report: Motion N Berken, second R. Rammer to approve 1994 expenditures of
$19,023.17. Motion carried, Motion N Berken, second R. Rammer to approve
Berken, second R. Leichtfuss to approve 1995 expenditures of $3,021.81. Motion
1994 Federated System expenditures of $8,171.44 Motion carried, Motion N.
carried.

LIBRARIAN'S REPORT
December, 1994
Lots of staff vacations left us very short-handed. The
customers were served during this period, and everything else was
"piled." This is not the best way to begin the new year, but so
it goes.. .
The chronic backlog si.tuation was exacerbated by the
resignation of Judith Wiedenkeller, who wanted to work part-time.
The day following her letter of intent, a part-time job opened in
city hall, and Judy started there today. The open position
Librarian I - Circulation is being posted and advertised. This
person handles all overdue/fine matters, and all library
card/borrower file operations. In addition, s/he also works at
the circulation and referencle desks, and will do more of that
when automation is implemented. I was in hopes of filling the
job from within, but so far there has not been any interest in
promotion.

school/library liaison.
