RUSS Jankowski Secretary LIBRARIAN'S REPORT June, 1994 Vacations are currently thinning the ranks, so it is a good thing we have some quieter times on evenings and Saturdays to help us keep up with the daily work. It is a real help to have our Thursdays, our children's programming day, is particularly busy. newest part-timer, Judith, 011 the desk afternoons in summer. The Summer Reading Programs .are going very well. We have had more people show up than wer'e signed up for our first two programs. The display cases this spring and summer have promoted programs in the library and recreation department, as well as the Muskego Historical Society's Civil War Days. Spindle art by Muskegoan Lisa Tibbals is on display now, and the Muskego Woman's Club is supposed to display their directory contest covers this month. APL met at Butler this month, and I was able to go for part of a meeting. The new WISCAT has arrived, and new interloan equipment from the city will be coming soon. T'he old machinery will go into Linda's area. Linda has five more rows to go in adult non-fiction, which represents the 800s and 900::. Then the small Wisconsin and large print collections need to be matched. Finally, there are six drawers of problems, mostly items we could not match earlier, and they have to be entered.
