LIE LFLARIAN'S REPORT
December, 19 9 2
Although the 1992 circulati'm statistics are very good (144,803) - almost 10,000 higher than last year, December was a relatively
quiet month, except for ter:n paper research questions. Since
many of the staff save vacation time for December, it's a good
thing it wasn't too busy!
Penny attended the annual Newbery/Caldecott book discussion at
Milwaukee Public Library.
Cindy learned more about serving at the reference desk at a
recent system workshop.
Penny attended a system-sponsored gramt-writing workshop.
The Purple Heart came to pick up the booksale left-overs. They
were delighted to have them, as they stock VA waiting rooms,
foster care group homes, etc.
We have received word that our funding from WCFLS will amount to
$22,401, plus the Lakeshores payment. e
