August was the slowest month we'd had since Christmas, with
circulation not quite 10,000. September picked up somewhat,
and the quantity of difficult questions has increased with
the start of school.
We continue to look for ways to make the library safer and
more efficient. We are trying to deal with all of the new
wiring necessitated by automation. Please look at the circ
and reference desk areas when you visit the library.
We are also experimenting with a way to manage the lines of
people who wait at the check-out desk. Let the staff know
what you think.
