Meeting was called to order at 7:45 by Vice-president Nundro.
Agenda was approved on motion J. 'Wolf, second J. Iioberson. Ninutes
of the July 3 meeting were approved as corrected on. motion J. h'olf,
second S. Passler. Next meeting scheduled September 4, 1990.
July expenditures in amount of $22,177.11. Motion carried. Plotion

LIBRARIAN 'S REPORT
August 7, 1990
The news again this month is the summer reading
program, which has kept us busy. Another 13,000
items were checked out.
Storyhours given us tmy WCFLS were concluded.
Bedtime storyhours, T'ot Lot, and visits to Jensen
Center were held. Mrmchin Lunchin was well
attended.
Special events were E,utton Day, the Chocolate Chip
Cookie Contest, a Cre.fts program, and Make-a-Book
Day. Extra sessions of some of these programs
needed to be scheduled.
Phyllis attended the ILL committee meeting, and
Penny represented Mu5:kego at the system budget
meeting.
The system has received a special users grant to
identify people who need delivery of materials.
Volunteers would brirlg items to the homebound.
Val Sobolewski's paintings graced the display case
in July, and one of t.hem was featured in a picture
in the Sun.
Bernard Buska's carved airplanes are causing a lot
of comment in the AuGlust display.
