LIBRARIAN'S REPORT
May 1, 1990
We had a few quiet days this month as people enjoyed the
unexpected weather, but circulation was still over 10,000.
We've been informed of the change of alderman representatives to
the LB. We are keeping it in the family, so to speak, swapping
Dave Sanders for former LB member Harold Sanders. I'm sure the
rest of the board joins the library staff in thanking both of our
friends for their past, present and future interest in the
library's welfare.
There was some excellent publicity for National Library Week,

Our "Building a Video Collection" grant was fully funded by WCFLS
in the amount of $5,000.00.
The FOL art fair won the "Saml?ler" Contest sponsored by the
Friends of Wisconsin Libraries. The prize was a handsome engraved
plaque, which will be hung in the library.
The Muskego Women of the MOOS,? gave us $20.00, the profits of a
recent fundraiser by the library committee, to purchase children's
books.
The balance of our county aid payment, $5,349.00 came from WCFLS,
bringing the total for 1990 t> $27,785.00.
