Treasurer's report: Motion C. Buhrandt, second J. Wolf to approve
November expenditures in amount of $13,169.01. Motion carried.
Motion C. Buhrandt, second J. Roberson to approve November federated
system fund expenditures in amount of $2,201.75. Motion carried.

d. Interlibrary cooperation: Holly advised reimbursement may
be greater than what anticipa,ted. System has received more funds
from the State which will be passed on to member libraries. Division o.C Litraries has proposed legislation making it permissible
to establish multi-type systems including libraries other than
uublic. such as schools.
e. Automation: Holly distr'ibuted copies of AMENDEDIICOMMON COUNCIL- CITY OF MUSKEGO RESOLUTION 11295-89 - IiESOLUTION AS TO INTENT TO
PURCHASE COMPUTER EQUIPMENT. The resolution states 'the intent to
purchase computer equipment for the City of Muskego which will have
capabilities to accomadate City Hall in 1991."

December 5, 1989
Just a few items shy of 11,000 went out in November, and our
shelved on one day last week.

Children's programming includecl the usual storyhours, two scout
tours and visits by Muskego Day Care Providers, Vernon and Willow
Edge daycare centers, and presentation of a Thanksgiving holiday
craft program in cooperation wi,th the recreation deprtment. The
library has a special "turkey" on display, made out of loud and
tacky (discarded) neckties.
Teri and Linda finished ETN courses on library practice and
cataloging respectively.
Cindy and Penny went to a reference books workshop, and Linda and
methods of recordkeeping using the new machine.
Phyllis are receiving training on the new ILL equipment, including

The December display case is devoted to the handwork of Cheryl
Tekus.
Coraly Ruehle has found a different job, and former staff member
Elaine Wojciechowski has taken her place, pending board approval.
WCFLS has asked to be added to the mailin.; list of those who
receive our library board minutes.
A patron came in last month and saw OUK cream colored display
shelves and offered us an additional one for $100.00, much less
than we paid for the others, He delivered it and public works set
it up. It is in the booksale area right now, and will someday be
used to display audiovisual materials.
Each system library will be receiving a small grant from Ours of
Greater Milwaukee to purchase materials on adoption.
