I was so pleased to hear the message you shared with building self-esteem by allowing children to choose parents. I enjoyed the way you talked about books. The three "no-no's" were trulsms and you illustrated t:hem so humorously. I have had the pleasure of hearing you speak many times, and I am inspired.each time. You breathe life into books and help me see connections, themes and relation5,hips that I did not know existed. Holly, you aIe an admirable teacher. Thank you1 Sincerely, Jo Ellen Pirlott Reading Coordinator JEP/kb cc: Mayor Salentine Library Board LIBRARIAN'S REPORT May 2, 1989 circulation.
