The state aid check of $7,366 came in May, and we will be spending it in accordance with the plan submitted to the system board in January, namely the purchase of paperbacks and books on cassette. of memories as families passed by. This month's exhibit features dolls which are totally hand-crafted of fired porcelain. James Kosir's display garnered lots of comment and sharing Muskego Elementary, who came to see a film on Marguerite Henry and the making of a book, take a tour, and check out materials. We were pleased to welcome enthusiastic 2nd graders from About 50 people attended the "Chapter 1" reading meeting held here. Educators from the school district and our library spoke on the city's reading programs. Linda went to a training session for "ROM-WISCONSIN," which is supposed to arrive here any day ... Penny attended a film preview at Meno Falls, and a meeting .of the Special Needs Committee. She also represented us at an orientation session for county summer worksite supervisors. We will have two part-time workers this summer. We have, in effect, been without help since January, as our last student did not work out, and resigned. The Summer Library Program is underway, A calendar of events lists the activities we are offering, as well as those presented by county workers. Clifford the big red dog is living on top of the card catalog, and an airborne swimming pool and floating beach balls also brighten the library and call attention with a stamp in their reading folder.
