Policy to establish the length of time t~ keep back issues of magazines was,
discussed. Mrs. Mimier moved the intent of the board to establish policy to .
retain magazines as recommended by Mrs. Lindhorst, with this reading to con-
stitute a first reading. Magazines listed in the Reader's Guide to Periodical
Literature shall be kept no 10nger than 10 years - with some exceptions such as
National Geographic; magaz ines not listed shall be kept no tonger than 5 years.
