PRESENT: Members Buhrandt, Czarnecki, Dibb, leichtfuss, Stelngraeber, Telsi
and librarian, Mrs. Lindhorst.
Mrs. Dlbb called the meeting to order at 7:40 P.M.
Mrs. $t~i~9raeber moved approval of the July i2, 1973 minutes, Mrs. leichtfuss
seconded and mot ion carried.
The next meeting wit I be held on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12,1973, 7:30 P.M.~
COUNCil CHAMBERS.
A letter was read from the "ItA announcing thei f' 82nd Annual Conference in
Green Bay on October 17, 18 and 19. Full details and preregistrat;on fonms
wi'; be sent in early September.
Mrs. Buhrandt moved to approve bills in the amount of $2,174.87, Mrs. Leicht-
fuss seconded and motion carried.
Mrs. Buhrandt reported that the Friends of the library are planning a book
sate for September.
~jrs. Tefsi reported that the libs'ary Systems Committee has almost completed
their work on the questionnaires. for the county librarians. Their next
meeting wiH be held on TuesdaYJ> August lq, 1973 at the Brookfield Public
library.
The preliminary budget t~S discussed and revisions were made as necessary.
Mrs. leichtfuss moved to recommend to the Common Council that the pages
wage scale be increased: PRESENT RECOMMENDED

Mrs. Steingraeber seconded and motion ~~rried.
Capital Budget requests for 1974-1978 were discussed.
Mr. Czarnecki reported that the lions Club have al1ocated the funds to begin
remodeling work on the stofe room for use as a community meeting room. Mr.
Czarnecki witt check on the progress for building a new storeroom for use by
the} ibrary.
Although plans to hire a full-time professional librarian wil' have to wait
for Council approval, Mrs. Lindhorst recommends that a committee be set up
to handle advertising ðnd interviewIng applicants for the position.
t~rs. Buhrandt moved for adjournment. The meeting adjourned at 9:20 P.M.
