The secretary was instructed to write thank you letters to Mrs. Lenz for her y.r.
of service to the library and for her 1eadershlp as boa,rd chainnan and to the V.f.W.
Auxiliary for their gift to the Hbrary.
Hr. DeBack reported that he had met wi th thearchi teet ,and genéraJ contractor of the
CIvic tent.,. about 20 Items that needed repair 'A the but Idlng.He was assured that
theleakfn the book drop, the leak In the library window and the shelf that needs
InstallatIon In the work roc:>m would be rapalrd. He also raportedthat oñTuesday
night the ComøtOn Council had accepted the Lions Club offer to finish one room In the
Chl,~ Center basement for a CODUIIUnlty meeting room. As this room Is presently being
....ect for IlhrarY storage the Council wll 1 have to act on another storage area for
the 'library.
Mrs. Lindhorst announc,ed that since a part-time, janitor has. beeft hired to take care
of the ,CltyHaIJ-Ltbrary, Hrs. Baseler wnl no longer cleM the library.
