Lindhorst reported that Mrs. Baseler is pres?ntly employed to o:Lean the l1brary. she works 6 hours per week for $1065 per hour, and the.t are very satis:f1ed with her work. . Mrs. Lindhorst also reported on the meet1ng she and Mrs. Lenzhad at- t$ndedw1th the f1nance committee.. They were asked to expla1n budget requests, .the main concern seemed to be with the copier andoonven- tlon expenses. They plan to meet with the Common Council Boon. Lina.norst a.nnounced that the library employees were meetingwlth the finance committee to discuss their salaries and to nresent a re- quest for a study to be made of surrounding community's' library em- ployees salary ranges. The librarian informed the board of the death of Mr.. Hauk and that a plant had been purchased and sent to the funeral. The secretary had sent Mrs.. Hauk the goard' s condolences. Mrs. Teisl moved to include a late bill of $7..80 for a plant, for ap- proval, bringing the total of approved bills to $2,048.07. Mrs. Dibb seconded and the motion carried. Mr.. Kreuser volunteered to oontact Burmeister Woodwork for an estimate on the needed display case to house the remaining pieces of the Hauk collection. fir. DeBackreported tha1; he had not received any further information about estimated bids to rough in a library storage room in the Civic enter basement. Board members expressed their concern that t.he Lions lubor Mucky 4..H 'Would begin paneìlng the room, presently being used, afore new space would be available. Mr. DeBack assured them that he ould contaot the Ma1or about this matter. rs.
