Narlock had presented the library's capital outlay requests to

The public haar1ng on the City's 1972 budget will be held on
November 30, 1971t 8;00 P.M~, at the high schoolø
MrG"Luthel'~ representing the I1brary employees on the n8wly-
formed negotlati~~ team for city clerical workerst brought the
board up to date on some of the inequities existing In. wage scales
between library aud other otty employees doing comparable work..
She reported on some of the requests the négotlating team plan to
make for sick leave and maternity bel1ef1.ts and holi(laY pay.. Some
wage scales have been sent to the President's Commission to deter-
mine whether or not tney may be r&alsedø Mrs. Luther will 1nfoI~
the board of any meetings they may schedule with the finance com-
mittee before the public hearing date of November )0., 1971"

County Supervisors Elwood Albers and Morton Smith to urge their
