Mrs. Lenz read a letter fro~ Mayor Gottfrled informing the! board that a new rasldent Philip Peterson, graduate 11br&r1an~
1s interested in taking an'actlva part in library funct1ons..
Mr. Kreuser l"eported that he had courpleted a design of a book
droF1 for use ill. the new library.. Fea.sibility of the plan will
depend on the availlb11ity of components to comþlete it for an
estimated CQßt of $200à He willhava scale drawings ready for
presentat1on to the board at their next meeting. .

Mmes..Lenz and L1ndhorst reported on their meeting with ;Mayor
Gottfrled to discuss any oha11ges he had to recom'Ren-ft lnthe
proposed 1972 budget. The only proposal he took issue with was
the necessity of extra perso1U1el needed in the new library.

Mr.. Narlock reminded the board that the Common Counoil w111 vote
on Tuesday. September 14, 1911, whether or not to aoaept the bids
