Vice Chairman, Mrs. Mimier, opened the meeting at 7:40 Ð.m.
Mrs. Dibb moved approval of the May 12, 1971 minutest Mr. Narlock
seconded and motion carried. Minutes of the May), 1971 Special
meeting were accepted and placed on file.
The next meet~ing Nill be held on HEDNESDAY, JULY 14, 1971, 7=)0 P..M" It
at the BAY LANE BOARD ROOM.
The seoretary read a letter from Mayor Gottfried accepting the
board's recommendation to reappoint Mmes. Leiohtfuss and Mimier
to the library board, subject to Council approval.
Mrs~ Lindhorst reported receipt of an applioation for the librarian's
post tion fro:n a Chinese woman who had studied in Canton and the U. s. The application has been answered and placed on file.

The lrriends of the Library report was presented by Mrs. Llndhorsto
They are planning another book sale at the Muskego Country Fair Days
on July 9. 10 and 11, 1971. They are soliciting donations from local
merchants and plan to hold a silent auction and a fish pond will be
8,val1able for children. Board members able to help at the booths

. HI's. t"11d'eit.~presented the Building Committee re'Oort. She had been
in touch W1~~ld. Foldy, Mr,. Schulze and Libby Nolan and was assured
tþat t1he Council Building Committee had not met and no meeting was
planned for June but if one was called she would be lnformedo Mr.
Schulze informed her that 'the plans being drawn now include the 6 ft. addition and the 12 ft. addition with full basements. He expeots
them to be ready for bids by July It with all bids to be in by the
end of July. He also plans to meet with the llbr~rlan to discuss
built-in equipment for the offioe suace. The board decided to keeu

town paying the salary of a story hour lady tor their summer play-
sround program. It was agreed to use Linda Zahn at the Tess Corners
