WHEREAS the Muskego Public Library Board is charged with safeguarding,
maintaining, and advancing the public interest and
WHEREAS we of the Library Board, on behalf of Muskego Library patrons,
are deeply concerned that allocation of space in the proposed building
was made without consultation with the Library Board or library staff
and
WHEREAS the amount of space provided for the library is inadequate for
present minimum needs and provided no room for the minimum expansion
essential to proper library functioning and "
WHEREAS we believe the present plan in its utilization and allocation
of space does not reflect the total public use of this facility
THEREFORE we sugEest the building committee request other plans from
the architect w.ich will relocate certain multi-purpose areas for
maximum utilization of this public building and that these will then
be reviewed by all departments, including the Library Board.
