Mrs. Sobolewski. temporary chairman, opened the meeting at, 7:40 P.~9
Mrs~ Dlbb moved to approve the March 10, 1971 minutes, Mr., Kreuser
secoñdad a d motion carried.

1an~ pojitlon. She was advised to reply and Ðlaoe it on file.
Mrs. Soijol wski informed the board that the Friend's style show-lun-
cheon W$s. sucoess, with over 200 people attending. Profits are
earmark$d or the þurchase of an 1886 colored maÐ of Wisconsin.
The build! g reuort was reviewed and corrections were made to up-
date th, first part of the report. Mr~ Kreuser moved that the lib-
rarian Qe uthorized to complete the reDort and sub~lt it to Miss
Nelson,IVJr . Leichtfuss seconded and motion carried.
Mrs. Modli ski moved approval of bills in the a"ûount of $1~a60.14S"
Mrs. Dibb econded and motion carried.
Mrs. Ll~ rat reported that keeping a record of the staffts work week
hours~ wit regard to overtime purposes, 1s \rnnecassary since she was
informed. that overtime \'lOuld not be pald this year. Mr. Narlock ex-
plalnedthat a pa.rt of the city employees are on a 37 1/2 hour wee,k
and par~are on a 40 hour week. Next year the council will try for
a unlfo~m work weak for all. He assured the board that they would be
notifle~ of ~ny changes at budget time.

Mrs. Leichtfuss moved that bhe librarian be authorized to arrange for
substit~te pages, Mr. Kreuser seconded and motion carried.
Mrs. Sobolewski has been appointed to be the board's l1al~on with the
11brari~. Her duties will be to assist the ~lbrarian with any prob-
lems or questions that may arise after the agenda has be~\,\ prepared.

Discussion of the library floor plan brought UP questions of how much

mittee chairman~$ approval, on Wednesday, Ap~il 21, 1971, 7:)0 p.m.,
Bay Lane Board Room<< At that time, the lib~arian will have prepared
stackt deskt table, etc. models on the floor plart to enable the board
to see space available for present needs and projected future growth
and to prepare them for a meeting \Üth the architects..
