Mrs. Lenz opened the meeting at 8:07 pomo She explained that the reason
tor the special ~eeting was to decide on a capitol Improvement item
which had to be subT,itted to the Mayor's office on September 2, 1910
and also to decide on salary and preliminary budget items.

financing methods.
In accordance with the Mayor's request that all capitol Improvement
1tems be submitted by September 2, 1970, Mrs. Leichtfuss moved to
request a cap1tol Improvement item of $100,000 for a new library
building, Mrs. Sobolewsk1 seconded and motion carried.
Mrs. Leichtfuss moved that the following salary increases be accepted:

Mrs. Teisl moved to accept the preliminary budget of $14,368, exclusive
of salaries, Mrs. Mimier seoonded and motion oarriedo
Mr. Kreuser moved to adjourn, Mrs. Leichtfuss seconded and motion
carried.
The meeting adjourned at 9:50 p.m.
