In order to assure pa;vment ot bll1s rece1ved atter the Deoember 10, 1969 board meetlng up to the end ot 1969. the board agreed to tl.è the !reas., Mrs. Mod11nskl, the authoritY' to approve payment of sam~ and to bring ooples ot the expenditures to the January 1910 meetlng. Another letter was read trom the office of the Attorney General in regard to the antl-trust suit, w1th further clar1f1cat1on ot the type of reoord of agreements betweeen"the library and several bO~ ~~-g=.tb&7~~' ~ ~~~~~ Rrs. Board members examined and admired the craftmanship of the priceler. donation given to the l1brary by PIr. and Mrs. Joseph Hauk. Mrs. L1ndhorst expressed the library.s appreciat1on for the book o~ canada donated by Mr. and Mrs. Jereld Lenz. Although c1ty em~loyees are given the day after Thanksgivlng Day oft, as a pald hollday, it was decided to keep the llbrary open th~t day slnce the school children wlll be on vacation. The llbrarles full-time employees were lnstructed to take compensatory time off at another tlme. Mr. Kreuser moved to adjourn. Mrs. Modllnskl seconded and mot1on carried.
