The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m.
Mrs. Modlinskl moved to approve the June 2S m1nutes and the July 24
speo~al meeting minutes, Mrs. Dibh seoonded and motion carried.
The next meeting will be held on SEPTEMBER 10, 1969, 7;00 P.M., at
the BAY LANE SCHOOL.
Mrs. Teisl movÐd payment of bills in the amount of $2.087~50, Mr.
O'Connell seoonded and motion carried.
Mrs. Lenz presented the FoO.WoL. progress report by announoing that
the group is holding a book sale at the Muskego Fair on August 23 and
24. Mrs. Dar1 Honl requested volunteers to help at the booth. They
also need a volunteer to transoribe the tape recording of their con-
versation with Mr. and Mrs. Berger on the history of Muskego.
Mr. O'Connell reported that the Common Council had passed a resolution
to direct the city's attorney to prepare a two year lease with an o~tion
to extend, on the Community Church. This building is to be used as a
temporary city hall until the civic center can be built. The library
board has not been contacted by the council, on their request for a
meeting with the council to discuss the possibility of moving the
l1brary to the church building.
Mrs. Lindhorst reported that Mrs. Repath has informed her that the
oiroulation has dropped from an average of 100 to 61 for the seven
sessions at the summer l1brary at Tess Corners school, even though
the library was open during the hours the recreation program was heldo
Mr. O'Connell has suggested that the money collected frol1 the use of
the oopier be kept in the library to be used for additional purchase
of copier paper.
Budget items were examined with Mrs. Lindhorsto The board postponad
action on the budget until the Septe~ber 10, 1969 meeting.
Mrs. Modlinski moved to adjourn the meeting, Mrs. Teisl seconded and
motion oarried. The meetil1g adjourned at 9: 26 p.m.
