Mrs. Le1ehtfuss moved aþproval of the A~ril 23 minutes, Mrs.
Mimler seoonded and motion carried.
The next meeting will be held on ~~NESDAY. JUNE 25. 7:30, at the
MIDDLE SCHOOL BOARD ROOM. Mrs. Lenz reiterated her request for
members to oall her or the library if they oannot attend meetings.
In regard to the appointment of a new City Counoil member to the
library boardll Mrs. Lenz reported that the Mayor has not received
Mr. Cooley's resignation as yet, therefore when and if Mr. Co~ley
resigJfß :'rom -'the Ci t:r Counoil his replaoement on same will as~ume
fill'. Cooley~s membership on the library board.
A report was given on the S.E.Regional Conference meetingo D"ring
the disoussion that followed on the Senate Bl11 Noo363 the qu~stion
of -The percent of total circulation of the library using the
WisooÐsin Lending library services?" was raised. It tiaS deoided
to take some action on the bill even though it had been voted on
in oommittee today. Mrs. Le1ohtfuss moved that the Muskego P'\bllc
Library Board. through it's President. make it's support known to
the Senate Committee on Bill No.363, Mrs. Mlmier seconded and
motion carriedo
Mrs. Lindhorst reported that Mrs. Nolan had been very helpful 1n
suggesting sources and people to call on in taping a history of
Muskego. Mrs. Nolan also suggested compiling souroe monographs
rather than a complete text. Mr. Kreuser will make available
a tape recorder for this project. A requejit was made for fU1'Jding
this project in the 1970 budget. .
A report on their visit to the New Berlin library was given ty
Mmes. Mimier, Modllnski and Teisl.
Mrs. Modlinski moved payment on bills in the amoant of ~2.199o72.
Mrs. Mlmier seconded and motion carried.
Mrs. Luther's vacation and leave of absence was dlscussedo r~s.
Lindhorst oan manage the library during that month by having Mrs.
Schmid work full-time and increasing page work hours without a
salary increase.
The secretary was instructed to send a thank you letter to tr~
Women's Club for their $200 gift. Mr. Kreuser moved that the
offioers be directed to open a savings account in the a~ount of
$200, in the name of the Muskego Public Library Board, at thß
Muskego branch of th~ Hales Corners State Bank, Mrs. Mimler
seconded and the motion carried.

The problem of the disturbance and d&ma~e done by unaccomuan1ed
children at Ü~ library was reported. It was suggested to have
