Mrs. Mlmler moved approval of the Maroh 26 minutes, Mrs. Leichtfuss
seoonded and motion oarried.
It was suggested that Mrs. Lenz ask Mayor We1selmann's opinion on
appointlng a new oounoil member to the library board, someone who
can attend meetings regularly.
The next meet1ng will be held on WEDNESDAY, MAY 28, 1969, 7:30 p.m~
at the MIDDLE SCHOOL LIBRARY.
Mrs. Teisl moved to send Mrs. Lindhorst and one board member to the
South Eastern Regional Library Conferenoe on May 16 at U.W.M. and
pal the $5 (per person) registration fee, Mrs. Mlmler seoonded and
motion oarried.
A letter from Muriel Fuller, Presldent of the W.L.A.. was read and
d1soussion followed on the enolosed oouY of proposed library legis~
lation. Mrs. Mimier moved that oopies of the legislative bill be
prepared and sent to members for study. Members shall be pOlled fc"
their deoisions in tWQ weeks, seoonded by Mr. Kreuser and motion
oarried.
Mrs. Modllnskl 'oved approval of bills in the amount of t2,005.28,
oovering a 5 week period, Mrs. Mlmier seoonded and motion carried.
Mrs. Lindhorst reported that the materials and displays at the Aud1o-
Visual workshop she had attended were direoted at school A.V. pro-
grams rather than library programs.
Mrs. Teisl moved that the library board aot upon Mrs. Leichtfuss'
suggestion to use the $200 given by the Women's Club to establish
a growing fund whioh would be set aside for a unique purpose in the
new library and to encourage further donations from other oivic
groups, Mrs. Bostater seconded and ,notion oarr1ed. Mrs. Bostater
will get Women's Club members suggestions as to a possible "unique
purpose" 0
Mrs. Mim1er suggested that Mrs. Lindhorst oall Mrs. Nolan, Mrs.
Neiman and the Waukesha County H1storical Sooiety to see 1f anyone
ill interested in taping a history of Muskego froil elderly residente' 0
A survey of patron's preferenoes of open hours at the library has
been taken, aotion on possible changes was deferred until the faotF
can be compiled.
The library board has decided not to partioipate in the Memorial
Day paradeo
