Mrs. Lindhorst also present.

Present:
Mrs. Mimler moved approval of payment of invoices in the amount
of $2,240.62, Mrs. Lenz seconded and motion carried.
Mrs. Leichtfuss moved approval of the February 23 ~inutes,
Mrs. Mlmier seconded and motion carried.
The next board meeting will be held WEDNESDAY, APRIL 23, 1969 -
7:30 P.Mo at MUSKEGO CITY HALLo
Discussion of the Woman's Club $200 gift centered on an approp-
riate selection of an item for the libraryo Suggested as possible
choices were a film strip viewer or a set of vocational and guid-
ance books for high school students. Members were asked to con-
sider ideas and be ready to come to some decision at the-next
meeting.
Mrs. Lenz réported that the Civic Center committee had narrowed
their choice of architectual firms down to two and Mayor Welse1-
mann will contact her about their final choice.
Mrs. Lindhorst requested assistance on determining suitability
of donated technical books. Mr. Kreuser will ask Mr. John Thomas,
of his staff, for his assistance.
Mr. Kreuser moved that a charge of 10Ø a copy would be appropriate
for use of the library copier, Mrs. Leichtfuss seconded and motion
carr1edo
Mrs. Lindhorst reported on the EGT.N.. workshop on public relations
she had attended and her plans to attend an audio-visual workshop
on March 27, 1969. Members were ShOM1 fW8"6 ~he had purchased to
be used~r our picture collection, for loaning purposes..
The secretary was instructed to arrange a meeting with the Finance
Committee to discuss clarification on use of money collected froM
patrons for the use of the copier and non-resident deposit feeso
Also the question of replacement of damaged records and books..
The book "Education and Ecstacy", by George Be Leonard has been
selected for the Ida Mae Haacke Memorial Shelf.
It has been suggested that the Muskego Public Library institute
a Oommunity Memorial Book such as the one in use at the Graham
Library of Union Grove.. People of the Community who wish to giVfl

a memorial in a persons name are given a list of books and prices
to choose from; their book choice, name of person being commemorated,
4nd the donor's name are recorded in the Memorial Book and placed
on public display.
The next library tour to visit the Menomonee Falls and west Bend
libraries will be on Saturday, April 12, 1969 at 12:30 p.rno
