Ifr. Welse1maßn made a motion to approve the mnutes of the October
meeting. Ur1aniJlously carried.
Our meetlßg followed the agenda as per copy attached to these minutes.
1. Invoices were presented and reriewed by the board members and a motion
was made by Mes. Griesbach for payment of same i.n the amount of $1,840.34-
seconded by Mrs.. HI.1der. MDt:Lon carried.
2. Bids for the lighting have not as yet been recei.ved so this item of
busLnesB ~i11 be discussed at a later data.
Hrs. Staton showed the board members a 88mp Ie- of the indoor-outdoor
(Ozlte) which is available at Gimbels Dept. ato're. The price of
the carpeting to the Ubrar, 18 $3. SO per yard. Everyone present
feLt that the color and texture was sat1sfacto:t'y aßd Hrs. Mimier
made a motion to approve the purchasÐ of a 9' 2!: 12' rug for the
Ubrary as per the sample. Mr. Kapelka seconded the motion and
all voted in favor.

mounting and installat.lon. Upon further 1nvestLgatioo. Mrs. S.::aton
wag a.dvised that each peg board would amount to $25 mounted and
installed. Three peg boa.rds (to be placed at tbe endof the three book
stackoEl) are desired, the'refore, in view of the amount charged for In''
stallation and mounting, the board advised Mrs. Staton to eheck fu~ther
and Yr. lCapelka offered to discuss the matter with 8 neighbor who tight
be tnterested in undertaklßg this project for the library at a lesse~
cost.
3. The Huskego '.tJomeu's Club (kn1ttina group) display was discussed next,
and in view of the quaUt, of their work. the interesting items 10.-
vol'led. and the method of Bellina same, it was mutually agreed that
the, be given permiss:lon to permanently have a sbelf in the library
'fo'r display purposes.
4. A check 1n tbe amount of $ 200 was presented to the library from the
Huslr.ego Woman's Club. New books vere immedIately ordered and most.
of them have arrived and are to be placed on the shelves as C1Þickly
as possible. Arrangements will be made to have Mrs.. Bourassa, the
cLub president, present at: the library for P lSbUcity.
The Husteao Woman's Club bas also offered to decorate the library
fat' the holiday season.

have Mrs. .Jean Luther work an adctitional six hours fl)ecifically from
12 00 to 2:00 Jobnday. Tuesday, and Thursday each week. This 't/8S
put in the form of a motion by Nt's. Mfmier, seconded by Mr. Weiselmann,
and unanimouø1y passed.
A complete list of library hours will be posted and publicized by
Mrs. Staton.
6. A pre-scboo! story hour tfill be started in January, 1961 by the
~kego Wbman's Club. Mrs. Staton will aid them in tbe selection
of stories and Priday mornIng 't1111 probably be the da, selected for
tilts ac tl vi ty .
1. Hr. W:ti.selmamt made 4 motion, seconded by Mr. Kapelka., and unanimously
passed by the board members that the library be c lOBed on Saturday,
December: 24; )buday, December: 26; Saturday, December 31; and Monday,
January 2.
8. lira. Staton info~med us that the Eecord player is in need of repair--
tbe 45 speed and 33-1/3 speed play too slow. Mrs. S~aton was advised
to have the record player checked and repaired 4S soon as possible.
Mrs. Staton advised that there tlnl be money left over in the salal'Y fund
and she would, therefore, appreciate having extra page help enabling
ber to get the Dew books on the sbelves before Chr.1stmas. After db..
cussl.on it was agreed that she hire the exLra help &9 long as ahe
.Y8 within the salary budget.
Our next meeting will be TUi!sday, December 27th, at 4:00 P.M. at the
library.
