The meeting was opened by l~s. }ümier, acting chaiL~an in the absence of
Mrs. Leichtfuss.
A letter of farewell from l~s. Sheehan was read and is attached to these
minutes.
:t-1rs. Pelzmann reported that ~die Dietrich has been offered a full-time
potition, thereforeþ ~e are in need of a new page. SeveraL applicanta
F!ere consi4ered. On the recommendation of Mrs- Pelzmann, Ruth
Gr.iesbàch made a motion that ræs. Pelzmann contact Jeanne Iverson -
this tl1as seconded by i.Ir. Kapelka and passed' unanimously.
The appropriations and expenditur~report was submittèd. reviewed,
and copy attached to the minutes.
Library vouchers payable on May 25, 1966 in the amount of $1,159.39
were 'reviewed by the board members and ~ motion made and seconled
fer pa}~ent of same.
We t..ere informed that the Nusltego Ne'tvcomers Club Nill donate an amount
in the vicinity of $50 for Social Studies books.
The libJ:ary shelves are ready to assemble- Hr. Kapelka sUJ~ested that
the beginning of next week might be a good time. l~s. Pelzmann informed
the Board that she is still inneed of a type~riter täble and coat rack.
Mts~ Yahr will be going on vacation after school is out--her schedule
will be filled in by the other librarians.
r~S6 Leichtfuss and }ks. Pelzmann attended the Southeastern Wisconsin
Library District Conference at the Racine Public Library on May 6.
f~S. Pelzmann uas appointed to represent Wacl<esha County on the con-
stitutional committee. ~~s. Pelzmat1n will present a voucher for the
expenses involved :'lhile at this conférence as this is a budget item
and should be paid accordingly.
Äs of }~~y 1st the Division for Library Services is no longer circulating
chHdrensf and young peoples' books.. This is a very serious loss for a
library as small as ours.
